Proper Cleaning a HEPA Filter

Cleaning is a time consuming and boring job sometimes. It sucks, but someone has to do it. Your home should be cleaned at least once a month to make sure dirt and dust don’t gather on the floors or your things in your home. They can cause gross things to grow, like mold or other fungus to make you sick and make your allergies go crazy. No one likes thankless jobs, but cleaning will make you and your family feel better. In order to make it a bit better, you can always get an air purifier with a HEPA air filter.

At DC911, they know all about them. HEPA filters need to be cleaned too, but they’re a bit easier to deal with than an entire house. All you have to do is remove the filter from the purifier, wash it or vacuum it depending on which type you have, and put it back in. You only have to do this every two or so months, so it doesn’t have to be as frequent as the regular house cleaning. It is necessary, but you can have a long few years of clean air if you take good care of it. The manual is important and will tell you if it’s washable or not.
